Dark Chocolate and Almond Chia Pudding

Chi Chi Chi Chia!

Chia seeds are a plant based source of omega-3 fatty acids. This tiny, powerhouse of a seed, is packed with fiber, protein and antioxidants!

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

3 tablespoons chia seeds

1/8 tsp almond extract

1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

Chia seeds form a gel like consistency in liquids. To make your pudding: place unsweetened almond milk, almond extract and 3 tablespoons of chia seeds into a jar. Stir contents. Chill for at least 6 hours. Check back every so often and give your jar a quick stir.

When ready to enjoy – add in chocolate chips and top with your favorite sliced fruit!

265 calories; 17.5 g of fat; 20.5 g carbohydrates; 12.5 g of fiber and 7.1 g protein
