Go Green Challenge

Starting Monday August 31st, we are going to add more fruits, vegetables and plant-based food sources into our diets as well as work on increasing our physical active levels. The summer is not done yet! There are plenty of daylight hours and warm temps left to keep us motivated.

How does the challenge work?

Ask to join the Fueled RDN private Facebook page.

For starters, we are not going to obsessively count calories, “Macros” or even forbid any food groups. We are going to have a little fun by experimenting with blending green smoothies daily to consume for breakfast.

Remember to focus on eating clean for the rest of the day as well. If you are adding in more colorful fruits and veggies, heart healthy fats, low-fat dairy and choosing more whole grains- you can’t be wrong!

Snap a before photo, take a starting weight and even some measurements (i.e. hips and waist). At the end of the challenge, snap an after photo and take measurements again. Admire your progress!

Aim to exercise on most days of the week. Feel free to i.e. post your workouts or workout tips as well as pictures of your smoothies on the group page.

If needed, adapt the challenge to better suite your needs.
